International Freight Brisbane – Air & Sea Freight Delivery
We move your inbound international cargo the last leg — from Brisbane Airport, the Port of Brisbane and port-side or unpack warehouses, direct to your premises.
Ontime Haulers is the Brisbane international freight transport and final-mile delivery partner for inbound air and sea cargo. Once your shipment has arrived, been cleared and is available for collection, we arrange the Australian road leg — collecting from Brisbane Airport freight facilities, the Port of Brisbane precinct, port-side warehouses and unpack/deconsolidation warehouses, then delivering direct to your premises.
Importers, freight forwarders and customs brokers use us for air freight delivery in Brisbane, sea freight and LCL delivery, and port-to-door palletised or carton transport across Brisbane Metro, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and regional Queensland. Where a facility requires a booked collection or delivery time slot, we can book it — including through Inbound Connect where that facility uses it.
To be clear about scope: Ontime Haulers is a transport operator, not a licensed customs broker, shipping line, airline or ocean carrier, and we do not provide customs clearance. Your broker or forwarder handles clearance; we handle the freight from the moment it is released and available for collection.
How Inbound Air & Sea Freight Delivery Works
Air cargo and sea/LCL cargo follow different paths once they land in Brisbane. Here is where we pick up the job in each case.
Air freight into Brisbane Airport
- 1International flight arrives at Brisbane Airport
- 2Cargo is cleared and released, and becomes available for collection
- 3Collection booking or facility time slot is coordinated where required
- 4Ontime Haulers collects from the airport freight facility or bond store
- 5Direct delivery to your premises, warehouse or site
Sea freight & LCL into the Port of Brisbane
- 1Vessel arrives at the Port of Brisbane (Fisherman Islands)
- 2LCL cargo is devanned and unpacked at a port-side or near-port warehouse
- 3Cargo is released and available for collection
- 4We book the collection or delivery slot, including via Inbound Connect where applicable
- 5Pallets or cartons are collected and delivered direct to the consignee
LCL Transport Brisbane — Smaller Shipments, Direct to Your Door
LCL (less than container load) suits shipments that do not fill a full container. Your cargo shares a container with other consignments, is unpacked at a nominated port-side or deconsolidation warehouse in Brisbane, and then needs a road transport leg to reach you.
That road leg is what we do. Ontime Haulers collects your released pallets or cartons from the nominated warehouse and delivers them to your premises — commercial addresses, warehouses, distribution centres, retail premises and approved sites. Freight moves under our palletised freight service with consignment tracking once it is on the road.

Slot Bookings, Tailgates & the Right Vehicle
Imported freight often has two constraints general freight does not: a facility that only releases cargo in booked windows, and a delivery point with no forklift. We plan for both.
Time-slot coordination
Where a terminal or warehouse requires a booked window, we can book it — including through Inbound Connect where the facility uses it. Slot availability remains under the facility's control.
Hydraulic tailgates
Tailgate-equipped trucks lower imported pallets to ground level at premises without a dock, subject to vehicle availability.
Electric pallet jacks
Electric pallet jacks travel with suitable vehicles and assist with palletised cargo where surface and access allow.
Multiple vehicle sizes
From vans and small rigids through to semi trailers, matched to your pallet or carton quantity, dimensions and weight.
Equipment availability depends on the vehicle allocated, site access, freight dimensions and weight, and the requirements confirmed at booking. Where conditions are unsuitable for safe mechanical unloading, suitable labour or equipment needs to be available at the delivery point.

Where We Deliver Imported Freight
Most import work runs between the Port of Brisbane and Brisbane Airport corridors and destinations across Brisbane Metro, with regular delivery south to the Gold Coast, north to the Sunshine Coast and west to Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. Transit times and service availability are not the same for every destination — check your delivery suburb before you plan a cargo availability date.

Choosing a Service for Import Delivery
Import deliveries usually run on our General Service, with pickup generally available the business day before the expected delivery. When cargo is released late or a customer is waiting, Hot Shot is available anytime for urgent freight, subject to vehicle and driver availability.
Express Service covers same-day pickup and delivery in eligible service areas when the booking requirements and cut-off are met — including bookings placed in advance for a specific day. Full detail is on our service levels page.
